GOODESIGN transformed this standard new-build spec home into an eclectic haven by embracing bold design choices and rich textures. We enveloped the walls in deep black paint, creating a dramatic backdrop that exudes sophistication and serves as a canvas for diverse decor elements. Complemented with the addition of black ceiling beams, added depth and a striking architectural feature that enhances the open floorplan. We incorporated beautiful Italian metallic tilework to infuse a touch of glam and timeless elegance at the dry bar. The dry bar area then became the focal point that invites social gatherings and showcases beautiful craftsmanship. The Italian tiles not only offer durability but also introduce a vibrant hexagon pattern and warm metallic colors, elevating the home’s overall aesthetic.
In the mudroom and laundry spaces, we carried the metallic theme with custom painted wood slat wall, and brushed gold piping, trimming out the door and millwork in deep black paint.
To complete the transformation, we stepped into the primary suite behind the deep black painted double barn doors. Once you open the doors, the metallic wallpaper greets you in the alcove. Then you enter into the moody and dramatic primary bedroom which also showcases a metallic wallpaper accent wall adjacent to the chocolate bronze painted walls and ceiling.
